Yana Zuraeva is a Russian-Mongolian Visual Multimedia Artist born and raised in Ulan-Ude, Republic of Buryatia. With a background in Arts and Animation, she has been working in the animation industry as a 3D Environment Artist since 2018 while making traditional and digital art in her free time. She publishes short stories, personal reflections, and essays on mysticism on her blog at Waterfalls of Qaf.
Her other interests range from the anthropology of Siberian peoples to Russian literature, Islamic mysticism, and the history of religion and sacred traditions.
She divides her time between Toronto, Canada and London, UK.
